March is the start of the Farmers Market year, when all our producers re-join the market for the coming year. This year we have lots of new members and we also have members that have been with us since the very first market 20 years ago. Over the next few weeks we thought we would feature each of our members as a way of introducing you to them all.
No 1. - 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭? We are an association of local smallholders and sell a range of products from our members. Products include – locally grown flowers, wool, sheepskin and goatskin rugs, goats milk soap.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬? The association was founded in September 2018, it was founded by a group of smallholders as a networking and support group for local smallholders.
We hold monthly meetings, which during Covid 19 restrictions, are continuing on zoom. At our meetings we have a guest speaker who delivers a talk on subjects likely to affect our members. We also offer help, support and advice to each other.
